Course Description
This course will cover all the areas needed for students to work as a professional nail technician, including the anatomy of the hands and skin, nail disorders and the health and safety aspects of work. Its study areas includes basic manicure and pedicure, hand massage, hot oil treatments, buffing, waxing, French polish, nail art and design, temporary extensions and permanent extensions. It leads to a Level 3 Diploma.

Assessment method
Students will be assessed by a number of tutor marked assessments as part of their coursework and then forward to their tutor. These consist of practical tasks, case studies and short questions on specific topics within the course.
