Course Description
This course comprises of units that include: Airfares and Ticketing; Airports and Passengers; Introduction to the Travel Industry; Communicating with Customers and Colleagues; Introduction to Worldwide Travel. As a compulsory part of this qualification, all students also undertake; BTEC Certificate in Preparation for Air Cabin Crew Services. Progression is to Level 3 Gateway courses (on achievement of a Merit in the Pathway Level 2) or careers in the aviation industry.

Course Fees
Students will be eligible for fee remission on their tuitionfees if they are: aged 16–18 years old; aged 19+ and studying their first full Level 2 or 3 qualification and have not achieved a full level 2 qualification before; aged 19–24 years, hold a full Level 2 qualification and are studying for your first full Level 3 qualification; in receipt of job-seekers allowance; aged 19+ and in receipt of a means tested benefit or an unwaged dependent of such a person; aged 19+ and an Asylum Seeker who has legally been in the UK for longer than six months.

Assessment method
Externally set scenario-based assessment and practical/written assignments.

Entry Requirements
Students need to have 3 GCSEs at Grade D or above includingMathematics or English, or equivalent international grades and/or relevant knowledge. A personal interview will also be required. Mature applicants without these qualifications are welcome.
