Those wishing to work as either ground or cabin crew, when you are 18 years of age (an age restriction is imposed by the industry). Prior to reaching the age requirement, this course will enable you to work within the Hospitality sector in customer relations or in restaurants. The course will develop self-confidence, grooming and the poise necessary for those people who wish to work in quality organisations in front of passengers and guests. You will acquire the necessary knowledge to become a member of cabin crew or work in the hospitality sector. Both the Cabin Crew and Food Service courses are linked together and it is very important to participate in both. The course is delivered in modules with a final assessment at the end of each one. Some of the practical assessments will take place in a standard aircraft flight mock-up. Functional Skills will be integrated and assessed within the programme of study. You must be at least 16 years old. Preference will be given to applicants with a good all round education with two GCSEs at grade D or above, preferably in English and Maths, for direct entry. You must also have an aptitude for working closely with the public. One of the requirements set by the airlines is that your weight should be in proportion to your height. Entry by: Interview
