Course Description
This First Certificate is very practical in nature and enables students to work towards an NVQ Level 1 in General Agriculture. Students will spend the majority of the week working within the Rural Skills Small Farm Enterprise and on the College Farm.
Assessment method
Students are assessed on a continual basis and build a portfolio of evidence over the year.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for the Rural Skills course, however, students need to have an interest in land-based subjects and a will to achieve. All students must also complete a one week Rural Skills Taster Course.
