Course Description
Course has 2 main components: taught element including core lectures developing a grounding in aerospace dynamics; covering such topics as aircraft aerodynamics; stability and control and performance; and related analytical techniques; followed by a choice of specialist modules based around a core specialisation; research element: candidates decide on a research topic by the end of the 1st teaching period and work towards an individual thesis during the 2nd half of the Masters course; specialist modules for this route include: computation of high speed flows; introduction to computational fluid dynamics; numerical methods for low speed flow.

1st or 2nd Class Honours degree in mathematics; physics or an engineering discipline.
