This programme is designed for the graduate engineer (in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or equivalent, or possibly aeronautical technology) and who wish to expand and deepen their knowledge of aeronautical engineering; the course covers a broad range of areas including fixed wing and rotary aircraft, subsonic and supersonic flight regimes, aircraft propulsion systems, aircraft control systems and materials as well as taught classes, students use the extensive range of laboratories which include industry standard design and analysis software.
Core modules: Technical and study skills; research methods and project management; control systems for aeronautics; structural integrity; aircraft propulsion systems; advanced aeronautics; advanced vehicle aerodynamics; MSc project (60 credits); options include: MSc project by distance learning; advanced engineering materials; technical paper authoring; industrial responsibility.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
taught modules were pretty good. But wish the course length is more so that there will more time spend with the lecturers. More learning....more
