Course Description
The course combines the specialist study of aerodynamics and advanced structural mechanics, with the physical and mathematical principles of engineering science. Each course is firmly based on the analytical, experimental and computational skills needed to solve complex problems in a range of fields. These include aeronautics, astronautics, fluid dynamics and structural mechanics.

Assessment method
Assessment in all years is through a combination of continuous assessment of coursework (including laboratories, applications and project work) and formal examinations. These are held in June in the first and second years, and in January and May in the third and fourth years. Assessments and examinations in all years contribute to the final classification for Honours.
