This programme has been developed in response to UK health and social care policies that prioritise the importance of coordinated inter-agency working and high quality professional practice in childcare; the programme is for physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses who already have experience in paediatric practice but who wish to deepen and broaden their knowledge, skills and understanding in this highly-specialised field; it enables students to: develop a wider perspective on their professional role; place their own role within the perspective of the wider team; demonstrate a flexible and forward-thinking approach to practice.
