Elective specialist strands of study: Directing; dramaturgy; lighting design; performing, producing; puppetry, and object theatre; sound design, and music for performance; theatre design/scenography (set, space, costume); visual media for performance; writing for performance; students work with colleagues from other strands, exploring an integrated language of theatre, and building creative teams, and networks that they can rely on during the course, and after graduation.
Practical research project; explore wider contexts of theatre-making (looking at some significant contemporary productions, and practitioners); watching theatre productions; research practice of a company, or practitioner; portfolio of work.
