All students study the same 4 modules below with varying contents for each module (depending on the subject areas chosen for their project); supervising staff assist students in identifying and defining the detail of the module content (based on research and project work); students also have the opportunity to attend appropriate formal lectures at the university; there are a number of prescribed subtitles of this programme, including mechanical engineering; electronic engineering; electrical engineering; technology management; energy technology; design technology; sports technology; digital media technology.
Core modules: Project management and research methods (30 credits); advanced technology (30 credits); specialist technology (60 credits); MSc project and thesis (60 credits) applying the material studied in the previous modules to an advanced research project; preparation for planning and undertaking leading edge industry based research and development work with a high degree of competence and minimal supervision.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
taught modules were pretty good. But wish the course length is more so that there will more time spend with the lecturers. More learning....more
