If speaking in public is a part of your professional role or your extracurricular activities, you'll know how much depends on putting on a great performance and winning over the audience. This intensive two-day workshop for experienced speakers will provide you with the opportunity to enhance your skills and ensure that you are in control of the impact you make on your audience. You will be expected to bring a short pre-prepared presentation to the first session. After delivering this to the whole group, you will receive feedback on your current style and on the persuasiveness of your key message. We will explore the psychology of persuasion, the strategy of communication, and how to project yourself as a leader and an expert to your target audience. You will receive guidance on how to apply these principles to your specific goals. You will have the opportunity to rework your presentation and present your improved version again before the end of the second day. Throughout, you will receive constructive feedback from the tutor and the rest of the group.
Applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English.
