Course Description
This course consists of eight taught modules that support the development of practice and theory, beginning with practice and theory, beginning with Analysis of Advanced practice. the practice aspects of the course include the double taught module Advanced Health Assessment, complemented by an Advanced Practicum module which takes place in each student's practice setting. These modules address Micro and macro advanced Health assessment skills.

Continuous assessment, written essays or report and/or performing presentations.

Entry Requirements
Applicants will be registered nurses or midwives with significant experience in their speciality. Applicants will preferably have a first degree or evidence of recent professionally related study at Diploma in Higher Education or degree level. Those who have not recently studied physiology or research methods may be asked to complete some pre-course modules or written work. Students from specified specialities working in the West Midlands may be eligible for a NHS Confederation full-time to part-time sponsored place. Mature students who meet the entry requirements are welcome. Those who are unsure whether they meet the standard requirements should contact the Admissions Office to discuss individual circumstances.
