The course has been developed to offer the opportunity to explore the context and development of the quality, patient safety and clinical governance agendas; due to the broad application of clinical governance, the pathway has been designed to encourage multi-professional study and is suitable for all local, national and international healthcare professionals; it is also appropriate for non-clinical staff working within the health service, particularly clinical governance and risk management/patient safety support staff.
