This course is for engineers specialising in manufacturing who want to become technical specialists or managers in industrial and manufacturing companies; it enables students to develop both their technical and problem-solving skills; equipped with new ideas, experience and understanding, students can enhance manufacturing effectiveness in a wide range of industries; students career potential is improved by extending their knowledge and experience of manufacturing engineering, management skills, and ability to take on greater responsibility.
Students take 2 management modules, 5 technical modules and 1 optional module; optional modules include: computer-aided design; computer-aided manufacture; competitive materials technology; advanced metallic materials.
