This programme offers health care professionals, with a professional registration, the opportunity and scope to develop their potential as expert practitioners and leaders; nurses who successfully complete the programme, studying specific optional modules, to PGDip level receive an approved Nurse Practitioner certificate from the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) in addition to the Advanced Health Care Practice Diploma; this programme is part of the Faculty of Health and Social Work Integrated Master's Scheme.
Certificate level: Clinical decision making and the consultation; integrated biosciences and applied pharmacology; applied clinical skills for healthcare practice 1; and legal principles in health care practice; students who continue to PG Dip and full Master's study research modules along with further specific modules.
