Apprentices learn on the job, building up knowledge, skills and gaining qualifications. They will work towards: National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) - recognises their competence in the workplace; key skills - application of number, communication.
Students must be under the age of 25 and have a minimum of 4 GSCE grades A-D. They will also need to be employed within the hairdressing sector.
