In this course, students will refresh their number skills, understand metric measurement, develop their understanding of fractions and decimals, use a calculator, understand simple percentages, read and record time and date, work out perimeter, area and volume, recognise and name 2D and 3D shapes. They can start from basic arithmetic and work towards certificates such as AQA entry level 3 certificate in adult numeracy, OCR national tests in numeracy at level 1 and level 2, CG 3792 numeracy at entry level 3.
Students must have an initial assessment and come out at Entry 2 or 3, Level 1 or 2.
