Course Description
This course is aimed at two major groups of full or part time staff in the post-16 sector: qualified teachers wishing to teach adult literacy as a subject specialist and existing Level 4 qualified teachers or trainers of adult literacy who wish to gain a specialist qualification.
Assessment method
Assessment is by observation of their teaching and completion of City & Guilds set assignments.
Entry Requirements
Students should have certificate in Education (or be working towards); Teaching placement that will enable them to deliver 30 hours of literacy teaching.
