This course is a great “stepping-stone” to prepare sports students for level 3 courses via formal lectures, practical sessions, demonstrations, written work and teamwork - where peer-learning is encouraged. It provides students with research and portfolio building skills as well as giving participants a broad opportunity to gain practical coaching skills through work experience and opportunities that facilitate qualifications looked for in the leisure industry. Work in outdoor education, activity holidays or onto a higher level course.
2 GCSEs A - D and experience of a variety of practical sports, either team or individual.
