Course Description
The course is made up of a variety of subjects - five core units which everyone takes and twelve specialist units, which enable the participants to study particular areas in depth. Participants will begin this two year course trying out performance ideas in a workshop situation. They will also learn about The Performing Arts Business. This unit is about how the performing arts sector offers significant opportunities for employment, the nature of the industry and the professional requirements needed to gain employment within the sector. This course really does provide a broad education in the world of Performing Arts. There are units in which participants will appreciate the voice as an instrument, using different techniques for different roles. Participants will also look at musical theatre, contemporary, film and TV acting. By studying these units as specialist units, participants gain an understanding of the variety of arts within this field; such as acting to camera and acting on stage.
Entry Requirements
Participants must have at least 4 GCSE's at grade C or above, GNVQ Intermediate, BTEC First Diploma or equivalent.

Venue Description
This College provides childcare facilities for the students. It also offers advice and guidance services for them. Added to it the college also provides special care for people with physical or sensory impairments, dyslexia, and learning difficulties.
