This is an exciting new course that explores acting techniques which will 'train' the actor in practical aspects of performance. Participants are taught modules which relate these practical training aspects to large scale productions which are either text based or created by them. They will also develop their independent thinking skills applying critical analysis, reflection and evaluation to their own and others performance and academic work - in preparation for the workplace or further study. On completion, they will be able to continue in education with a 'top up' BA (Hons) Degree in Acting, pursue a career as a performer or move into related employment areas.
Participants should have successful completion of two A Levels or the Edexcel (BTEC) National Diploma.
