There can be little doubt that having knowledge of computerised accounting packages will enhance prospects of employability and career progression.
The majority of small and medium enterprises have converted from manual accounting to computerised systems. This is still ongoing and will tend to grow rapidly. On this course you will learn about the Sage computerised accounts programme.
All computerised accountancy packages work on similar principles with slight variations regarding the commands and layout.
City & Guilds Level 2 Computerised Accounts which is also delivered in two and a half hours per week sessions, over 10 weeks. The course further develops topics covered in City & Guilds Level 1, including:
* Editing customer and supplier details
* Processing payments and receipts and bank transfers
* Processing nominal journal entries including wages journal
* Producing invoices and remittance advice notes
* Producing aged debtor and creditor reports.
The aim of Level 2 is to develop skills that will be useful for you in managing and controlling a business.
This is a progression course from level 1 computerised accounts, therefore it is not suitable for beginners.
