Course Description
This course is a rigorous and intellectually demanding study of the 'core' disciplines of Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Accounting Theory, Strategic Management Accounting and Auditing together with a wide range of options. The 'Individual, Organisation and Society' foundation course, which looks at alternative conceptions of the role of business in society, in order to prepare you for the study of Accounting and Finance from a wider societal perspective. A dissertation, which forms a substantial part of the assessment of the programme, will allow you to develop your interests in either mainstream or wider business and societal aspects of Accounting and Finance.

Assessment method
Assessment methods on our postgraduate programmes vary from course to course, but will typically involve a combination of course work, either individual or team-based, and a formal written examination. Course work may be in the form of group projects, individual essays, oral presentations and case study analyses. Some of the Master's programmes are assessed, in part, via an individual research-based dissertation.
Entry Requirements
A good second class honours degree (or equivalent) with significant accounting content from a recognised university and / or substantial relevant work experience. Plus a good command of the English language both written and oral (IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent).
