Course Description
Research areas: Historical development of accounting & auditing; Financial reporting, business communication, corporate governance & management accounting in the private & public sectors; Finance; Social and organisational aspects of accounting; Professions and professionalisation; Accounting, auditing & finance, especially in China, the Middle East & other Asian countries.
Course Fees
Standard Arts & Science Fees for 2007/08: £3240. An additional research support fee may be incurred for some Science-based areas of study, which you will be notified of, prior to commencement. Further information on postgraduate fees, is available from the Finance Division or the provider website.

Assessment method
The methods & results of research are incorporated into a thesis. The candidate is examined via a viva voce examination.
Entry Requirements
A relevant first or upper-second class honours degree. Overseas applicants, whose first language is not English, are required to hold the minimum IELTS/TOEFL scores of 6.5/580 (CBT 237).
