Course Description
This programme aims to provide a thorough grounding in accounting and finance, within a strong social science framework. The degree consists of twelve units when taken through the Standard Route and nine units through the Graduate Entry Route. Graduate Entry route provides an opportunity for graduates of any discipline to gain an additional undergraduate degree by following a shorter than normal programme, in this case a minimum of two years.

Application handling fee (non-refundable): £52; Exemption application fee (per unit): £54; Exemption application fee (per half unit): £27; Initial registration fee: £503; Continuing registration fee: £243; Examination fee (per unit): £146; Examination fee (per half unit): £73;Examination fee (per law unit) (Group L): £157; An additional one-off fee is payable for each law unit that they choose (except for unit 27). This fee covers the necessary additional materials and other resources for these units. First law unit: £64; Next three law units (per unit): £30; Any further law unit (per unit): £15. Additional costs: Textbooks (approximately £300 per year); tuition costs (if studying at a teaching institution): £2100; if they are taking exams outside London they will have to pay an additional fee to their local examination centre (this fee will vary)

Assessment method
Each unit is assessed by one three-hour unseen written examination, and each half unit by one two-hour unseen written examination

Entry Requirements
In addition to the qualifications above candidates must hold a full first degree completed in a minimum of three years duration on a full-time basis (or equivalent) from a university or other institution acceptable to the University of London. Applicants holding professional and/or postgraduate qualifications without a full first degree cannot be considered for the admission to the Graduate Entry Route
