Course Description
At Level 1 you will be introduced to a broad range of topics essential as a foundation for an education in accounting and finance. At Level 2 the course covers three main areas of accounting and finance - financial accounting, management accounting and finance - as core subjects. Company law is also studied as a compulsory subject. At Level 3 the three main areas are further developed as core subjects - you will study the theory and practice of financial reporting, corporate finance and accounting for management decisions.

Assessment method
Mix of lectures and seminars which are assessed by a mixture of coursework (between 20-30%) and examinations (between 70-80%) at the end of each module. Assessment methods include individual or group work, tests, case studies, essays and presentations. Degree is awarded on results at Levels 2 and 3, which may include independent research work.
