This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for success in current and future employment in sport, leisure and recreation industries and to equip them for entry to a higher national diploma or undergraduate degree programme in physical education, sport, recreation or leisure disciplines.
Applicants will be selected on the basis of their experience and relevant industrial qualifications. They will also be expected to: Complete an initial assessment to level 2 (GCSE equivalent) Demonstrate an ability to handle mathematical and scientific problems at level 2. Show an involvement or a keen interest in sport.
