This course is for those who are planning a career in nursing and some allied health professionals but who do not have the necessary experience or qualifications to progress directly to higher education. It has excellent links with higher education providers and students are thoroughly prepared for higher education. Subjects studied include: sociology, biological science, psychology, professional studies and research as well as communications, numeracy, and IT.
Students will need to have completed the NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2 or the BTEC First Diploma Health and Social Care at merit level.
