Course Description
Access Essentials - For anyone who has the basic knowledge of computing and wanting to be more aware of how a database works and how to design your own. Aims of the Course: To provide the basic understanding of MS Access 2003 and its designs. Objectives of the Course: Design a table and enter data - Amend a design - Be more familiar with the properties including validating data using rules and input masks - Keep the database in some reasonable order - Finding data and making simple changes. Activities and Tasks: Tutor led activities looking at existing databases and creating a simple small design - Large screen demonstration underpinned with handouts - Question and Answer time.
