The course includes sessions on: analysing essay titles; reading strategies; note-taking; planning strategies; structuring academic writing; developing your argument; revising and redrafting; avoiding plagiarism; citing references; common written errors; writing in examinations.

Entry Requirements
The course is designed for students who are not sure how to tackle written assignments and exam questions and lack confidence in their ability to write well in an academic context.
