A key aim of this course is to develop participants' competence in designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and critically reflecting on substantial and systematic enquiry into specific areas of learning and teaching related to their discipline in higher education; participants are awarded an MA upon completion of a dissertation based on the research proposal from the postgraduate diploma.
