Aberdeen College, Scotland’s largest college of further/higher education and vocational training, fulfils a critical role in developing the skills base and economy of Aberdeen and the north-east of Scotland. Operating across subject areas that include engineering and IT, business an administration, science, sport and hospitality and the arts and social sciences, their total full-time and part-time student enrolments currently number around 32,000 (6,000 Full Time).

What's on Offer

The College provides over 1,800 quality education and training programmes to individuals, local communities, and employers. Meeting the particular needs of such a diverse client base requires flexibility and the College regularly delivers directly in over 100 community settings, companies, and international locations. Study modes are flexible, with full and part-time, community-based, distance learning, and specialist short courses. Dedicated IT centres provide student-centred learning for enrolled students and the public.

The College’s company - Aberdeen Skills and Enterprise Training Limited (ASET) – specialises in dedicated training courses for the offshore oil, gas and marine industries. ASET is a recognised world leader in EX Training (training for personnel working in potentially hazardous environments).

The College works closely with Aberdeen’s two universities, and has established direct articulation routes with these and others in Scotland.
