Course Description
The course is centred on the practice of functional design, produced directly through exploration and selection from appropriate materials. Making and designing skills will be supported by an understanding of the social and business context of craft practice. You will have access to studios and workshops including wood, metal, plastics, fine metal, ceramics, glass and print with an individual studio base. There will be no standard experience for students on this course, as your use of options within the course will enable you to have a different skill set.

Entry Requirements
Relevant art and design qualification (Diploma in Foundation Studies, BTEC National Diploma, appropriate GCE A Levels, relevant Access course, or equivalent), plus a portfolio of your existing work.
