Course Description
This course explores the links between sculpture and 3D design. It offers a special opportunity for those who enjoy working directly with materials and aims to bridge the divide between craftspeople, designers and artists. The materials utilised are mainly wood and metal but plaster, fibreglass and certain plastics may be explored. The course aims to develop a high level of skills in the production of modern and traditional forms and artefacts and will enable the student to pursue a number of individual solutions to suit their design and aesthetic needs. After completion of this course students can progress to a BA Hons in fine art.
Entry Requirements
Students must possess 5 GCSEs at grade C or above.
Venue Description
This college offers support for people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and sensory impairment. Accommodation facilities are available. Advice and Guidance is also offered to the students.
