Course Description
This is an Intermediate level course that is aimed at those considering a career where they will be using Computer Aided Draughting/Design in various disciplines. The course assumes no previous knowledge and instructs the student in the uses of the following commands Draw - Line, Arc, Circles, Polygon etc; Display - Zoom, Pan, Viewports etc; Edit - Move, Copy, Fillet, Array, Mirror, Scale etc; Settings - Grid, Snap, Limits, Linetypes, Colour, UCS etc; Additional Commands:- Dimensioning, Text, Blocks, Attribute Definition, Save, Inquiry, Plotting.

Assessment method
Assessment for this course is continuous with a final two drawing assignments and one multiple choice examination paper. Students are required to complete a log book
