UK Based
UK-TEFL is based in the UK, is on the UK Register of Learning Providers and is accredited by the National Awarding Body NCFE. Employers will prefer you to have trained with a UK based TEFL training organisation since the level of training is far higher than organisations based in the US, Europe and Thailand.

We run our courses throughout England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, so you are never far from a UK-TEFL training centre. This enables you to attend a TEFL course in a location convenient to you, keeping your costs down.

UK-TEFL run 2 and 3 day accredited TEFL Courses equating in a Standard 20/28 hour or Advanced 20 hour certificate. On completion of the course you will be able to apply for any of the 60+ placements that we have on offer.
Our 2 and 3 day TEFL courses are the first step on your journey to becoming an EFL teacher. You can enjoy the choice between studying at the weekend (Sat - Sun) or during the week (Mon - Wed) giving you the flexibility to find the perfect course to suit your requirements.
About the Standard course: The interactive, classroom-based courses provide you with a comprehensive knowledge of teaching EFL to fully prepare you for your new role. You will then put your new knowledge into practice by working in groups to plan and deliver a lesson on each day of your course.

About the Advanced course: The in-depth, two day course focuses on four core elements; Business, One to One, Young Learners and Advanced Learners, in order to develop and expand your current TEFL knowledge. The course prepares you fully for your new career, providing you with an array of advanced skills that will ensure you can easily adapt to the challenge of teaching various ages, abilities and topics. The additional experience and extra teaching practice will enable you to step into the classroom with total confidence.
