Course Description
This course gives the opportunity for those already engaged in electrical installation work to update their qualifications to the requirements of the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulation which will come into effect from 1July 2008. It covers assessment of general characteristics of electrical supply systems, accessories, diversity and standard circuit arrangement, protection against electrical shocks and over current, sizing conduit and trunking systems, earthing arrangements and protective conductors, isolation and switching, protection against thermal effects, selection and erection of equipment, special installations, inspection and testing.
