The course is made up of 9 units, which are as follows: Principles, Values and Personal Development, Working Together and Communicating, Safeguarding and Protecting individuals, Growth development and Health Living, Needs and Preferences, Antisocial and Offending Behaviour, Supporting Children and Young People, Patient centred health. They will also complete 10 days on a work placement, complete their Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT. They will need to complete an extended project and develop your personal learning and thinking skills.
Students will need to be working at teacher assessment level 4 for English, Maths and Science.
