Our guide to hairdresser training courses

Hairdressing courses cover a range of topics relating to the practical application and understanding of hairdressing in a professional environment, including colouring, health & safety and client consultation. Typically hairdressing courses will be an area of focused study; occasionally however, it will form part of a hairdressing and beauty course. The majority of courses prepare students for professional employment in a hairdressing salon and, therefore, you will need to have the ability to work independently and creatively.

absolutely fantastic!!!
by Rebecca - May 2015

I am a mobile wedding hairstylist currently and like to keep up to date with new ideas. I booked on to this course with the hope of learning some new skills and getting a few new ideas. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone as amazing as Pam. She is hands on throughout. You never feel uncomfortable to ask her for anything. She even made me a cuppa. Couldn't be more down to earth. I learnt a lot of new ways to do things, some new ideas all together and also gained a bit more confidence with some of the styles I was already able to carry out. I would recommend this course to everyone. whether they are already in the industry or just starting out. I am hoping to go on the make up course next.
