Gentiana’s ESOL lessons have improved her English and brightened her prospects…

‘I completed an ESOL course at Southwark College and I found it to be very helpful and rewarding. I came to the College with limited English and finished the course with a high level of reading, speaking and writing as well as gaining experience in communicating in English and meeting new friends. I was also able to improve my maths and ICT skills, which was a bonus.

The College has helped me with my English and this has allowed me to progress on to a BTEC First Diploma in Business which I have always wanted to study but couldn’t unless I improved my English. The tutors are very supportive and are always helpful in answering my questions and encouraging me to learn.

My goal is to continue on to complete my National Diploma in Business at Southwark College and then progress on to university to study a degree in business administration.’
