‘I chose the General French Advanced Intermediary classes because I wanted to brush up on my French, particularly my grammar. I studied French at school, but that was quite some time ago  and  my French has got very rusty since then.

I enjoyed the fact that we didn’t just focus on learning the French language – we also covered French current affairs and cultural topics. The class was conducted entirely in French and we would start a session by discussing a recent news event or cultural trend.
I really improved my oral skills and I feel much more confident speaking French now.’
