Overview
Royal Holloway, University of London is one of the UK's leading institutions for postgraduate study. Around a quarter of all students at the College are postgraduates, undertaking master's degrees or research. They are a diverse group of people from all over the world, of all ages and from a wide range of backgrounds.
In the year 2001, Research Assessment Exercise, all departments were awarded a rating of 4, 5 or 5*. As a result Royal Holloway received the biggest increase in funding of any multi-faculty institution.
