Great If Your A Beginner
by samantha - January 2016

The Course itself is great but would be fantastic if your a beginner. Pam was lovely and very good at what she does. She will answer any questions you have, Personally the course for myself wasnt as beneficial as it would of been for a beginner, as ive been hairdressing for 8 years, and i can already do bridal hair. i went on the course to learn some new techniques and styles, i wanted to learn some more complicated styles. As i find after doing hairdressing for so long, i find myself stuck in my own way of doing things, for eg. ghd curls, half up, half down styles, and buns. Which you will learn on the course. I learned how to use a variety of hair pins instead of just using hair grips and how to hide them and secure them properly, I learned that using heated rollers wasnt as time consuming as i thought it would be. I learned some new plaits, such as the russian plait, the knott plait, the waterfall plait, and a five-way plait. So i am pleased i learnt those and im excited to try them out on my clients.;) My only advice would be if your someone like myself looking to further your knowledge , the course which involves real models would be better for you, instead of dolls heads. But if your a complete beginner you would definately get your moneys worth!
