Formed in 1863, the FA aims to encourage people from all backgrounds to consider taking up football and to ensure that they have access to opportunities within the sport. The FA acts as a link between professional and amateur football, organising competitions and tournaments at both levels. The qualifications they offer are in subjects related to the game, such as football coaching and sports first aid. The Football Association is also involved in creating rules, ensuring they are obeyed and disciplining those that break them.

  • Owned by the trading arm of Sports Coach UK, 1st4sport Qualifications was created with the sole purpose of offering vocational qualifications, including Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) awards, certificates and diplomas in areas of sport, recreation and allied occupations.
