Modules include: Year 1: clinical dietetics 1; research strategies in nutrition and dietetics; professional studies; supplementary level; nutrition; behavioural sociology; placement A; awareness of dietetic practice; clinical dietetics 2; community dietetics and contemporary nutrition issues; supplementary level; psychology of behaviour; professional studies. Year 2: placement B; building on dietetic practice; reflection; clinical practice; placement C; consolidation of dietetic practice; reflection; clinical practice; registration examinations.
Applicants should have an Honours degree 1st or 2.1 including Nutrition with sufficient emphasis in physiology and biochemistry; applicants need to be EU Citizens due to the bursary provided to cover course fees; entry is also subject to a satisfactory criminal records check.
