This course will further develop many of the typical topics you studied at school and it will introduce some of the exciting areas of biology in the modern world, for example, the influence that genes have on development, environmental issues and aspects of human health. In addition to gaining some understanding of the dynamic and exciting nature of biology today, you will develop an awareness of the ethical, technological and economic aspects of the subject.
