The Royal Statistical Society is renowned for being a society for statistics and a professional body for statisticians. If you are looking for a course in these areas, the RSS should be your first choice. Offering one and two day face to face training courses, the RSS promise all their learners will leave with a better understanding of statistics and data, leading to better decision making. We are particularly impressed by the RSS’s reputation, both for its experienced trainers and professional courses.
Who our courses are for?
We have two levels of courses, Foundation and Professional. Our Foundation courses are open to all and require no pre-knowledge. Some are aimed at non-statisticians who want to understand the basics of statistics. Typically these delegates are users of statistics, people who have an interest in data or someone whose job is increasingly reliant on interpreting data. Other Foundation course are for Statisticians and users of data who wish to expand or improve their soft skills.
Professional level courses are designed for professional statisticians and data scientists and explore technical models and applications.
Location and facilities
Most of our courses take place at our head office in London, a beautiful converted Victorian school, close to the Barbican Centre. The venue has been converted sympathetically with full accessibility and a modern AV system, yet retaining features such as high vaulted ceilings and large windows, making it an inspiring learning environment.
