The National Design Academy has been teaching Interior Design for 26 years, with an alumni of over 30,000 students in 80 countries. NDA graduates are highly sought after, and prized for their confidence, skills and commercial awareness. NDA is the UK’s leading expert in delivering online Interior Design qualifications.

At the National Design Academy we treat all our students as individuals. NDA has no terms or semesters. Students can choose their own start date and study at their own pace - not the pace of other students.  At NDA every student has their own, individual study plan and their own, highly experienced, personal Tutor. Our Tutor team is based at our Head office & studios in Nottingham and can be contacted 5 days a week, as often as you wish.

Students study online using our bespoke Virtual Learning Studio (VLS) portal. With our years of experience the VLS has been designed by NDA to make your experience stimulating and informative. You can also make friends with other online students in the lively forum, enjoy online seminars and chat to your Tutor and our Alumni. Work placements, careers and student case studies are all part of the busy VLS.

BA (Hons) Interior Design (Staffordshire University degree)
by Sarah - October 2015

I completed my BA in 2013 after studying their Foundation Degree and can honestly say that this is the only way I would have been able to do it. Whilst studying I had 2 children under the age of 5 which would have made going to University impossible for me. You will have to be prepared for some hard work but the pay off is well worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, they give you lots of information videos and links in the course notes to really explore the subject. My tutor was always there to help me (even when I was having a child related melt down!) I now have a very small interior design practice of my own, I am my own boss and can set my own hours. For anyone who loves interior design I would recommend this course whole heartedly.

Excellent course and completely flexible
by Sarah - October 2015

I completed my BA in 2013 and have since gone on to open my own small interior design business. I have 2 children under the age of 5 and this really was the only way I could have possibly gained my degree. I was able to study anytime of the day or night which was great when I was up random hours throughout the night with my youngest! The course can be challenging at times but if you are prepared to put in the effort you will reap the benefits. My tutor was extremely helpful and gave me lots of feedback on how to improve. I could not recommend this course highly enough, thank you NDA.

A fantastic way to learn
by Mazz99 - April 2010

I have thoroughly enjoyed studying through the National Design Academy. I have learnt much more than I expected, and am thrilled to be half way to getting a full BA (Hons) without having to sacrifice my home and job. Studying part time using their online system has been spot on for me, and I'm so relieved that I've not had to get into debt to get a Degree. I can't wait to continue - and I've got my third workshop booked in for next month (these are highly recommended) which I am really looking forward to.
