Met Film School is one of the fastest growing film, television and online media schools in the UK.
What makes us different?
Career Focused - We equip our students with professional and personal skills such as networking, showreel development, pitching and social media profile building.
Student Successes - Short course graduates have found jobs across a variety of screen sectors, from big productions to entrepreneurial independent projects.
Practical Approach - Participate in workshops, work within industry, attend inspiring masterclasses and always apply the knowledge you’ve gained into practice.
We offer a wide range of practical, industry-driven short courses catered towards creatives of varying age, experience, and motivation. Our short courses range from weekend introductions to intensive six-month learning, with part-time and full-time deliveries of different durations in between. Whether you are looking for a change of career, a new creative outlet, or just a hobby; we have the course for you.
Students are able to utilise various production spaces located within the complex, including our own original Ealing Studios sound stage, a multi-camera gallery, studio spaces, and state-of-the-art post production facilities.
While studying on a course, you will receive the support of experienced industry tutors and our production facilities team, who are on hand to advise on the best suited camera, lighting and sound resourses for your projects, across all platforms.
Our campus exists at West London's famous Ealing Studios, a cornerstone of British filmmaking history that in recent years has produced high-profile productions such as The Theory of Everything, Shaun of the Dead and Downton Abbey.
The school is easily reached from both Ealing Broadway (Central/Distract Line) and South Ealing (Piccadilly) stations.
Those studying at Met will appreciate the leafy suburb's impressive selection of cafes, international restuarants, relaxing pubs and shopping areas.

Careers & Industry
In order to support our students, we connect them to the industry through placements and other work projects. By also working closely with our sister production company, Met Film Production, our students frequently have an opportunity to get involved in a variety of real-life projects, during and after their studies.
All our tutors are working industry professionals. Not only do they teach key technical and creative skills that students need to produce screen content, but also the career skills - how to be entrepreneurial, employable, and industry-aware.
“Not only did Met Film School gave me in-depth knowledge of postproduction workflows; they also gave me the skills i needed to become employable, and the confidence to use those skills to make my career ambitions a reality.”
Leah Jones, Six-Month Postproduction, 2015
“The part-time acting course was an incredibly valuable experience. In-depth classes and guest lectures from industry professionals touched upon all aspects of film acting. ‘Take risks, don’t ever play safe’ is the main advice from our tutor that I’ve taken from the course, and very much look forward to applying in future projects."
